Siddhartha Bikram Panday, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Division of Sport Industry and Science at Hanyang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, and Director of the Sports Innovation & Dynamics Laboratory (SID Lab). His research focuses on understanding and optimizing human movement through the integration of biomechanics, sports engineering, wearable sensing technologies, and artificial intelligence. His work spans footwear optimization, mobility mechanics, neurological adaptation, musculoskeletal modeling, sensor development, and data-driven approaches to human performance assessment and injury prevention. Beyond movement science, he is actively engaged in anti-doping research, athlete health, sports integrity, and international sports governance. He serves as Director of the ASPIRE Anti-Doping Research Center and contributes to international sports development through his role in the International Soft Tennis Federation. Through SID Lab, he promotes multidisciplinary research connecting fundamental movement science with technological innovation, real-world applications, and international collaboration.
